You can buy direct from Scorpio for under $300, including the Vision connect kit.

Posts: 573 Central Illinois | I ride a Vision, as do most people here, and do not need a key to access my glove box. I never bother with the fork lock because they are totally useless in preventing theft so that just leaves the fuel door. Frankly I wish it had no lock. Do you really care if some one siphons maybe $10 of gas on a day that your tank happens to be full? I would rather not need to rely on the linkage involved in that door latch. How about a latch like the glove box has instead? I would pay real money to convert my fuel door to that kind of latch. |

I agree that the fuel door should be redesigned. I would rather see it with a default of always open instead of locked shut if a cable or bracket breaks.
I'm sure there are plenty of ways and actuators that could do the trick.... but neither Scorpio nor the Vic model does.
It would be easy enough to just wire in an on/off button to the ignition if you want to just leave the keyhole positioned to ON. You could probably use the included button, and just buy a cheesewedge with a keyhole to put it in.
I'm also sure that if you are clever, you can even put in a wireless remote starter switch... as long as you leave your bike in neutral and don't have a RFID chip alarm system like those above. You practically have to hover over the bike for the RFID to acknowledge you there. Only then will it allow you to start the bike. Makes it hard to start your bike from in the bar.
Whatever you want to do, that feature of the aforementioned alarms won't work on a Vision without further modification.
