| Ok so rode my bike to the gym this morning and when I came out to start it it wouldn't start. Key is on, fuel pump on, and then go to start and I get nothing or a continuous clicking from it seems to be right behind the battery box. Oh it only starts if jumped and dies as soon as unhooked from the jumper cables. Please help. No fuses are blown and recharged the battery but only up to 11.2. But still dies after being unhooked from cables. |

| I know you ask this on another forum a few months back. Every one says the same thing you need new battery or you have to tighten your battery bolts. |

The clicking is not the computer. It is probably the starter relay clicking because the voltage is so low.

Cheap batteries are false economy and always end up costing you more over time because you have to keep replacing them more often.
I have had great luck with both Yuasa and Westco batteries. Typically get 5 or 6 years out of one. My last Westco went almost 7 years in my Sport Cruiser. I do keep a battery tender on them during the off season.
You should use a battery that has at least a 300CCA rating. If the seller is too bashful to put the CCA rating on the box, don't buy it. There is probably a good reason why it is cheap and the rating is not given.
