| Looking at a used 2008 tour premium with 7500 miles second owner. Is there anything I should be aware of for that model year? |

The seat cover comes apart at the seams on some bikes. $175.00
Headlight has small cracks that lets water in. ??
Front fender cracks. Fix it yourself
That is some low mileage for that year. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it if the price is right.
I'm sure others will chime in.

They are great bikes. With miles that low, the bike was barely ridden. I would change the oil (10 minute job) and enjoy the beginning of a new friendship. |

7500 miles is nothing on one of these bikes. Change the oil unless it has records indicating that it was just changed, and ride.

| the foot brake master cylinder can fail, go to the floorboard. Happened twice on my 2008 Street Premium. Had it serviced, $200.00, lasted less than a year. May have contributed to my stacking it up into the back of a pickup. I should have made them replace it at 12,000 miles. Otherwise trouble free. I never had a cracked fender problem until I did it myself...;0) |
