When did you buy your Vision?

I bought my Vision on March 1^st and now have over 22,500 miles on it. I figure I will hit a little over 30,000 miles by my first year anniversary.

Based on my experience so far I don’t think I will ever reach a point where each new mile isn’t more fun than the last.

You couldn’t pull the Vision from my cold dead hands.

For one, you can't make a living being on the forum all the time. Second, I've got more CASH for GAS since I started ridin' two wheels. My Jeep Cherokee only gets 19mpg so I'm more than doubling my riding range. It may seem I rack up the miles on my bike, but even with my cars I would average about 28K a year. Also, you get more mpg's out of petrol than you do with Dr. Pepper, so it is all a matter of priorities. I do say thank you for the kudo's.

docvtx - 2008-10-14 4:08 PM Glad to see the Vision going the miles. Picked up my Vision on 3-14-08 and have 25,677 miles as of now, will be close to 25,750 by the time I get home tonight. Put new front tire on, on Sunday at 25,514 miles, rear tire changed at just over 16,000 miles. Love This Bike.

Aaahhh! another challenger. I did the rear tire at 16k and the front at 23k so we're about the same. on that. I'm at 25,200miles right now so I'll keep on trying so I can jump a head. Really, it don't matter, my miles are mostly out of necessity, to include the ones with the wife unit to grap a bite to eat 100 to 200 miles away.

Correct, I was hoping to make it to the rest stop at the border and get a pick next to the Welcome to Virginia sign, but oh well.

Lightweight? I'm usually never more than 200 miles from home on my trips so far. Just one to Orlando, and the other to Carlisle, Pa. I'm ready to go to Texas, 16k and 24 hours, that's what I'm talking about.

I wonder if I can find at patch. Maybe a little Vision patch wing with 1LC under it. Then as we acheive, it can be updated with 2LC and so on. Who's the 1LC members, that is who has over 24,901.55 miles on their Visions? Thanks VT.

CoolHandLuke - 2008-10-15 7:55 AM Gee, I feel like a real "light-weight" compared to you guys. Had the 17500 service & the recall done yesterday.She runs soooooooooo much smoother now !!!!!!! BTW had the service done early because we're leaving for Deal's Gap this Saturday for 5 days. Wanted everything checked out on the Vis before I attempted to ride the infamous "Tail of the Dragon". Prayers for me on Monday 10-20 & Tuesday 10-21 would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still shakin it boss. You are the hero, going to do the tail. What a great ride, maybe you'll get the miles rack up. Ride Safe!
