Posts: 226 on the edge of Los Angeles | The other day I was at a local bike night with my Vision and made notice of two new 09 HD’s. One was Road King that had a real classic look to it. Very Nice! In talking with the owners of the RK the spouse made a comment that after taking a ride of distance she wished the seat was larger and that it could also use a backrest. She also made a comment about heat that she gets on her leg and that she won’t be wearing Capri pants while riding any more. Being a bit cautious I had to bite my tong and not tell her how the ride is on the Vision. I know they paid the premium for these bikes and would need to pay even more for what I already had.
These are some of the reasons why I was able to purchase a Vision for My wife and I. My wife had the experience of riding on the back of a bike unlike our Vision for a while and when we rode the Vision she was ecstatic about its comfort. The concerns that the HD spouse has are a non issue for the Vision co-pilot. Other than the occasional stop to stretch and so forth she is quite comfortable as the co-pilot. If you’re in the market and ride two-up the Vision should be on your test ride to do’s Oh yeah as others have stated “don’t forget your checkbook for the down payment” Without saying anything more it made me once again realize that for the type of riding my wife and I do, we did purchase quite possibly the best motorcycle made with two-up riders in mind. When was the last time you asked... “Want to go for a drive in my car” and did.
Now it’s like “When can we go for a ride on the bike” and do… 10,500 and counting....
