Posts: 102 Madison, AL | I have the basic plan and just added my bike's XM bill to the one I already have with my 4 wheeled vehicle. I love the XM raido and recommed it for long rides. I pay for the year to get a lower per month rate. |

Posts: 742 North Orange County CA | I bought a "lifetime" Sirius subscription for my cars, I think it was about $290 per vehicle and can be transferred to my next (2) vehicles. Love satelite radio, sick of ads and DJs. Really like the easy to find local traffic and weather stations. Only complaint is my favorite jazz station was converted to all "Sinatra". |

Go for Sirius. It's much better.
And with the coming merger, you'll end up with both. |

Posts: 235 Evergreen, CO | I bought an XM-based Roady XT off of craigslist, which came with a car mount and a home mount. Bought an additional car mount, and now I can use it on the Vision (I put it in the "glovebox" with the MP3 connection), my car, or my house. I also use the web based XM as well at home, as I have a pretty good set of speakers on my computer. Highly recommend XM, but no experience with Sirius to make a comparison. |

Posts: 447 Northeastern Penna. | I have a lifetime subscription to SIRIUS and love it. I put my portable receiver and docking cradle
in the left front compartment plugged into the port.I run the antenna cable out the grommet hole to the left handlbar. The antenna head is magnetized. It is attached to the left handlebar brake reservoir cover.I also put a little velcro on the under side of the antenna for added grab.
If anyone is considering sattelite radio, DO IT! XM and SIRIUS are now one-HERE for the duration,
MUCH MUCH better than terrestrial radio. |

Posts: 261 Sugar Land, TX (Outside of Houston) | If you get XM, get a portable one that you can take around to different vehicles. I have a Pioneer Inno and love it. I also can load MP3 Files for when I don't want to listen to XM.
XM is great - but I find myself only listening to my favorite channel, but for $10.00 per month, it is worth it.
However, I have an IPod connected to the Vic and that uses the Audio Interface so I can't use it without ear phones on the bike.
Here is a link to it:

Posts: 11 San Antonio, TX | I had strapped a Roady to the bike but it starts looking like a Transformer with that and the GPS. Dumped it and added the XM Module. Haven't turned on the radio since! Only cons are when driving through valleys due to signal loss. |

Posts: 222 Barefoot Bay, FL United States | Sirius and XM are one and the same, owned by Sirius. Stock is in the tank though. Hopefully a new buyer will pull them out of the problem the whole country is in. Sat. radio is a great way to go though. Crystal clear, but no reception under big overpasses. I have three mounts in three vehicles and looking to add a 4th mount for the ViVi.

Posts: 271 Belding Michigan | I like the XM it is built into the bike and the controls make it easy to use. I have the XM plus the Ipod connector so far I have not found much use for the AM/FM or the weather band but you never know.
I am worried that they may go under in a bankruptcy but then nothing is a sure thing except tht riding my Vision is the most fun I can have out of bed. Arch |

Posts: 212 Tavares, Fl | When I bought the Vision I was told the CB went in the starboard saddlebag and the ten disk changer in the trunk. After buying them I found out the CB goes in the pocket of the trunk and no room for the cd changer. I had a new radio installed along with a splitter for the cb antennae to the AM/FM radio and still very little reception so if you want to listen to music you almost have to get the xm option...My most frustrating part of my Victory experience.... |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | AH - I see. My new wife is Japanese (from Tokyo) and I couldn't find an intercom system with Eng/Japanese translator - so I passed on that form of communication and decided to just turn up the volume if she wants something...... works so far.
Some of the conversations when we stop get pretty interesting, though.... |

Posts: 1324 So Cal | When I first bought my bike I looked into the CD changer. It plays mp03 disc's which would have been able to hold my entire collection. At $600 I thought it was steep. Sony makes (made) the CD changer. I found them online for $160. Wasnt sure the harness was compatible? No one in the area stocked it. Special order only. Everyone went i-pod. |

Posts: 215 Boydsville, AR United States | I have XM in my work truck, and car. I love it! No more hunting up stations. With the shitty reception I get on the Vic, I've ordered a XM for the bike. Can't wait for riding season, and having something to listen to when more than 25 miles away from a station. I think I'm going to like the controls on the handelbar. |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | "10 CD Changer" - like having a tiny DJ in your trunk. Your choice of music - not some pimple faced punk from Iowa who wouldn't know good sound from an 'American Idol' preliminary round. No commercials. No 'opinions'. No lame laughter. No lying weather reports. No stale news.
Sorry - I tend to be a bit dramatic....
CD's sound is not quite as good as Vinyl LP's - but a HELL of a lot better than MP3's. I have 7 high-end sound systems in my house and 3 HD TV's. I appreciate quality in picture, sound - and in motorcycles. And as for women, well ..... that too <grin> |

Posts: 212 Tavares, Fl | Does anyone have the 10 disk cd changer and CB???? If so how did you mount them???? I put the CB in the lower trunk area but did not install the cd changer because I don't want it in the trunk. I read somewhere that someone put the CB in the right saddle bag, I may try that later so I can install the cd player.. |
