Posts: 261 Sugar Land, TX (Outside of Houston) | It shows her guts to even go on that Liberal infested show (although it is freakin funny). And McCain going onto David Letterman was equally brave.
I have always kept my political views to myself and close friends, but it does really irk me to hear people like Madonna, Rosie O'Donnel, Tina Fey and others spout such venomous anti-republican sentiments from their paid "Soap Box" called TV or Concerts with the historically Liberal Media slobbering on themselves saying it is "Good Fun" when we know their true feelings.
Seeing people like Dennis Miller and Frank Callindo do jokes about politics without being "Mean" and "One Sided" is fine with me. If we can't laugh at ourselves sometimes, then what good is life.
Sorry Chris - I bet I just opened a "Storm" of Politics from this thread.

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Agreed, I saw the Letterman interview, what a jackass, if I had been McCain, I don't know that I would have been able to sit pass the commercial. He had to, to be able to exit gracefully, but Letterman or the audience was not very kind as Americans. I thought they might have shown a little bit of the human side to him, not so much the politician. Letterman didn't give him the chance. If anybody caught it, what you did see was a little bit of old school manners from McCain. Helping to Defend Obama when people call out different slanders against him. And then just trying to point out that your word is what counts not just what a commercial can put out there for you.
Ok, I'm done, but I like the McCain Palin ticket. What a chance to put a different perspective in the whitehouse. That's Change. She has not always been a Career Politician, so it'll be new. |

Posts: 261 Sugar Land, TX (Outside of Houston) | Uh Oh - Did I let the cat out of the bag that Hollywood is LIBERAL?? I'm sorry to bust all your bubbles, but sadly ... it is true
I have not been "Undecided" since "Bill-Arry" and "No-Bama" have been in the Running. I guess sadly to say, I have always been a "Close Minded Republican" and proud of it. I don't wear the shirts demeaning others, I don't accuse others of things that are not true (I check my facts), I respect the right to life (except as my favorite comedian says - Most States are trying to stop the Death Penality, My State - Texas - is putting in an Express Lane) and I like to keep more of my hard earned money (although both sides will steal us blind left unchecked).
Oops - I slipped off my soap box. I guess I had better hop on the Vision and do some stress relief.

| While the SNL link is a giggle, and we can all use a giggle, this thread doesn't have anything to do with the theme of this site, so I'm just closing it. No hard feelings, but this site is about Victory Vision Motorcycles. If you would like to create and share a blog of your views on other subjects, might I suggest The Victory Riders Network where it's all about the riders. |
