A long time ago (80's) I was riding across Nevada on I-80 on my Honda Turbo sitting in the bitch seat as they call it. Throttle lock on and just heading to California. This car pulls up along side and the passenger (woman) rolls down the window and....... I screamed back at her that the driver fell off twenty miles back and I have not a clue what to do....... For the next five miles I just played along, I noticed an exit coming up so I just leaned over a little to the right and down the exit I went, as they went past I just threw up my arms and she was just in shock I think! I'm soooo bad!

Memphis | Thanks. This stuff has been building up for awhile. It's hard not to cross the line and start bashing (even though it is totally deserved) so I'm trying to stay focused on Motivating, whether it applies to designers, factory workers, dealers, corporate types and of course Vision Pilots everywhere. I wish there was more photos of Spirit Lake and the Polaris Design Center in MN because I could really run with a lot of ideas about those two places. Photos of factory workers and engineers/designers would be great also. I've never been the marketing type but if I like your product and company I can sell it as well as anyone that works there. (Just look at the bottom of my tipovers.) Check six. That's where all the competition is now. (Hey another poster!) |

Memphis | A couple of Vision guys ran a 50CC (50 hours, Coast to Coast, 3000+ miles) from San Diego to Jacksonville, FL earlier this year. Thought they would write an article but never saw one. markh has been racking up iron butt numbers all year. Spock - 20,200 in six months! Most of them at over triple digits speeds. :-) docvtx at 28,000+ in eight months! I'm not worthy!

Fargo, ND | The 'Department' wanted something that would definitely give the 'appearance of an unmarked police bike'. They assigned Sgt. Ironic to the task. He worked and spent money diligently. 'Sarge' has lots of time to ride his 'creation' nowadays as he's no longer with the Department!

Memphis | Tarpits - Cool. Radioteacher - Aerogel looks fragile but is being tested as body armor due to it's unbelievable light weight and insulating properties. It currently costs about $1,000/liter but once the market finds uses for it I'm convinced it will revolutionize our lives. Can only buy tiny scrap pieces of it now. |

Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Hey Mr. Song - I asked a while back in this post if anyone planned to do a video/slide show of these works of art. And no one responded.
So, last night I copied some 100 of these posters to my hard drive - and then used Nero Photoshow to create a quick slideshow - saved as a MPG2. Well, yes - it turned out wonderful - great to view.
BUT - at 200MB - it is not likely that anyone but me will see it. Too bad....

By the way, if you see something in "quotes" on one of my posters, I have actually had that conversation before. It only happens with a few very vocal retards from one brand but I will be relentless when it comes to pointing out their narrowmindedness. It is an attitude that is silently endorsed by the brand and I think it is an embarrassment to the motorcycle community. I will never mention the brand by name and I know a lot of Vision guys have come from that camp. This is not personal, just my own little crusade. Judging by the number of views on this thread, I don't think I'm alone here. |

************************************************* I'm sure there are other options...but here's how I do it - - Go to Photobucket or some other photo hosting service http://photobucket.com/ - Register for an account - Upload the photo you would like to post on this (or other) forum - Once done uploading the photo to Photobucket...Left click on it and it will get larger - Then Right click on it and 'copy' it - Go back to Vision Riders and the post you are working on or where ever you want to post your photo - Put your cursor where you want the photo...right click and hit 'paste' Viola & Good Luck! |

I save the posters in "My Pictures" folder and then transfer them to Photobucket. From Photobucket, I insert them here. I've had a couple of requests but 99% of the posters are out of my head. Good luck. I hope more people get into this and keep it going. graybeard, you need Chandler Tom's coordinates! I rode to work at 28 degrees today. I can go another 10 degrees lower before I start questioning myself. |

Memphis | Balanced journalism is tough. Since I have a Midnight Cherry, I don't want to seem biased in any way. SSG is the most reserved color so I'm kind of front-loading those guys. Black is too easy. Blue Ice is probably the most challenging but the most spectacular when done properly. I have several locked and loaded but I didn't want to burn you guys out and chase you off from boredom. I even have a few in the works for Trixie, Dallas Gal and sugsmom. Like I said, balanced. |

Northeast Ohio | SongFan, your "snowbound" sums it up nicely. Mother Nature has a funny way of giving us two days of 60 degree weather (enough to melt the 40 inches of snow we just had and make snow melt EVERYWHERE) and then socking us with more snow and cold. |

Memphis | The Lotzafun link pretty much explains it. I have some subfolders over at Photobucket that I organize stuff in and was doing some housecleaning there last night. Apparently when I moved one of the older posters to it's new folder, the link got broken and it somehow took out everything downstream from there on this thread. I guess I was the guy in the movie "Airplane" who cluelessly pulled the plug from the wall socket and blacked-out the entire airport. Hopefully I won't do that again but if I do, I at least know how to fix it. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming........... By the way, you are correct VisionTex. I could kill a lot of "birds" with one stone at a Victoria's Secret reunion.

As much as I think the Anna Kournikova posters are a nice demonstration of colour options for a Vision, this poster is still by far my favourite. There is just something about a fireplace that helps a man survive a long cold Canadian winter.

Memphis | I agree with the colors getting stale. It was easy and basically just to goof around through the depths of winter since there was very little riding being written about and the post count was way down. Now that everybody is thawing out and getting their rides back from winter time mods/storage I don't see a need to throw stuff out there just for the sake of throwing it out. With over 23,000 hits on this thread though, I think that everybody should get involved. Even if you don't know how to make a poster or install pics here on the forum, e-mail me an interesting/funny Vision pic (any size, preferably over 50K) and I'll try to put something together for you. For you guys that can make posters, the thread is wide open.

Memphis | Thanks Fred. Every one of these posters has a story behind it. This one occurred during the Texas trip. VisionTex, Smadge and I were riding three roads called the Three Sisters and at one point were following a Valkyrie and an '09 Road Glide. They were riding pretty aggressively and we came to a construction site that stopped traffic for a one lane bridge. We sat behind those guys for about 5 minutes and then continued on. We pulled into a State Park for a break and about 10 minutes later those two guys showed up. They got off their bikes and the first thing they said was "We saw you guys sitting behind us with those crazy blue headlights (the HIDs) and couldn't figure out what you were!" We chatted for about 20 minutes. Very nice guys.
