Posts: 10 Edendale New Zealand | When scrolling through the information display settings these change on their own accord. Is this normal? I like to see the current fuel usage as I ride but once selected the display never stays on the chosen setting for long before randomly changing to something else.

Posts: 133 , AR United States | No, not normal. Could be a sticky switch or bad wiring. I wonder if a loose battery connection would cause this. |

| maybe clutch lever is bumping the switch. To see real time when your going down the road you have to zero it out.

Posts: 10 Edendale New Zealand | Thanks for the replies, checked battery leads, nothing amiss there since replacing original battery with a Motobatt on purchasing the bike 11 months ago.
Took switchgear apart and gave it a good going over with contact cleaner, put back together and took for half hour ride. Switch much more positive in action now and settings only changed twice in that time.
