Posts: 244 Lindale, TX | For any North Texans out there:
1. Which local dealer would you recommend for best sales price on a new Vision?
2. Which local dealer would you recommend for best service after the sale? |

Posts: 21 Plano, TX | There are 2 dealers in the Dallas area. There's Strokers in Dallas and Renegade in Irving. There is also one in Ft Worth somewhere and there is supposed to be one in Sherman. I can't speak for anyone but Strokers as that's where I got my bike.
The place is a biker's heaven. Very big in the T&A dept which doesn't appeal to me, but their reputation speaks for itself. Google 'em, you can't miss 'em. "Rick Fearless Stroker's Dallas"

Posts: 495 Carrollton, TX | I bought my Vision from Rick Fairless’ Strokers Dallas and they are awesome!! Dave Marshall is the person to work with on a Vision as he will cut you a good deal. There service is absolutely terrific. They have the best techs around and they know the Vision inside out. They have done some really cool customization including tearing down a new 09 completely to do massive customization. They are putting it back together now. Since they are open 7 days a week and only closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas you can get your bike serviced anytime and there is no place better to wait while getting work done on your bike. Rick will bend over backwards to make sure his customers are happy. This is the second bike I have bought from them. |

They had a Roadliner they took on trade for sale a couple of weeks ago and I think they sold it. Ask for Dave Marshall at Strokers and tell him Spock sent you and he will take good care of you. They are really great before and after the sale! |

| Spock,
Great! Thanks for the info - I've been to Strokers many times for beers - but didn't know how they approached metric trades.
So, how do you like your Vision? I've really got the bug for one. I love the Roadliner, and have a Start Raider - both have awesome big twin engines. But I do a lot of weekend trips and several sizeable road trips each year - so I'm looking for something a little more comfortable and functional for the trips. I used to have a Gold Wing - should have kept it. But I get bored sometimes, and my tastes change.
The Vision has really got my attention now ... everything I read about the bike is positive, and makes me want one more.

Pat I started riding bikes when I was 9 years old and I have ridden just about everything on the market including all the touring bikes and in my opinion nothing tops the Vision. I have never purchased anything in my life that I have enjoyed more than the Vision. It is the most comfortable bike you will every ride. In fact its comfort and handling sets a whole new standard in the industry. I placed the first deposit on a Vision at Strokers and got my Vision March 1st and have put 26,000 miles on it in 10 months. I have put the Vision through the passes in all types of ridding and the Vision has performed flawlessly in all situations. I have never heard of a Vision owner not being totally thrilled with the bike. There are several people on this forum that used to own a Gold Wing GL1800 and bought the Vision and I don’t think you could find one of them that would ever go back to the Gold Wing. The Gold Wing is a good bike with many nice attributes but it does not have the comfort of the Vision. I have a couple of friends with GL1800s and after riding the Vision they say it will be their next bike. After all Michael Song the head designer of the Vision was a designer on the Gold Wing GL1800 and Greg Brew the head industrial designer on the Vision was he designer on the BWM touring bikes. If you have any other questions feel free to send me a private message and I will get back to you. When you get your Vision let me know and we will go riding. |
