I was at my local dealer dropping my bike off for the 15k mi. service, and I asked him what GPS I should get for it? He said to find a Garmin Zumo 550, that a Zumo 550 will plug right in to it and that the directions will play right through the speakers with a Zumo 550. Is the information that he gave me accurate? I don't need anything really fancy. Just want to get the correct unit. Any help would be much appreciated.

I bought a 2008 that came with a victory branded Garmin Streetpilot 2720. It started acting up so I replaced it with one I got on Ebay. Might not be the latest or greatest but the bike was already set up for it. It works perfectly. I made sure to get one with a free map update available for it so the maps were updated as of early 2014.

Many of the older units like described are no longer being updated nor supported. I have a garmin 590LM on a 2009 Vision. Fantastic device.
