Has anyone had this done yet? Was wanting to know how loud the bike is with this mod.
Thanks,
Shane

I was really trying to decide which ones i wanted because i like some noise, I went with the level one and i am real happy with them. I think if i had the level two, i wouldn't be able to hear the radio.

my dealer is also scheduled for 12/31 delivery. Factory rep. said these pipes are worth the wait. Easy to wait up here in Maine, its snowing, three months to spring riding. I should be good for two more Victory postponements!

Is there a power diffrence between stage 1 & 2 exhaust? If not I'd rather hear the radio. A little more noise to let people know I'm there would be nice. I've had enough ear splitting noise on the HD. I think the Vision has more class and deserves a mellower tone. But, if there's a noticeable increase in power, I may opt for level 2. I still cant believe red line is 5k. Should be at least 6k rpm.

I've been told there is very little hp difference between Level 1 to Level 2. I'm going with level 1, have heard one and it sounds good, not quite as loud a my Stage 1 Kingpin, but nice....... I'm sure the low redline is due to reliability. The slower the motor spins the longer it lasts. This is a long stroke motor, so the distance the piston travels has a lot to do with long term reliablity.

cjnoho,,,I've already put up red star clusters. Looks like from today to 8 days from now. We shall see. About the stage 1's and 2's, I've read and understand the stage 2 isn't much louder than the 1. Much louder from factory, however very little increase in power. I would stick with what you got, until you can't take it anymore. With the way gas prices are going, why go louder and loose the MPG's? Then again, I do have the stage 1 upgrade, Vans and Hines slash cuts on the E-Glide. Just saying.

Stage 2 is one piece pipe. The down load is set for more performance than stage 1. Also these pipes I heard are 40lbs lighter than muffler and shield combination. If this is true, the power to weight difference will be noticiable. I think those that wait will be rewarded.

One piece pipes are definitely lighter. Heat shields are a pain in the ass. Lloydz will supposedly have VFC for Vision in January(??)
He and KevinX were working on specs... we should be very happy with this fuel controller....

I am starting to notice the rumble the stock bike has but I think theres room for improvement. I also think that, loud to the point of obnoxious, doesnt fit the Vision style. Save that for the HD riders. I have the V&H pro pipe on my HD and it can get to be too much around town. Cruising on the freeway it sounds great. Kinda like a Cadillac and a big block Chevy, both are beautifull and powerful, but in there own diffrent way. To me, the Vision is more of a style & class, than a loud & obnoxious.

I lke the being able to replace just the shield if one gets dented or scratched. Although the shield probably cost just as much as the complete muffler
