Posts: 447 Northeastern Penna. | It seems rather pricey, especially if your Vision doesn't have any issues or if they were corrected
with the remap etc. Mine falls into that category. Good luck if you are eventually going to get that product. This is another example of how great these forums are. Networking with fellow motorcyclists on ideas/issues. Safe Riding !

Posts: 1117 Northeast Ohio | I have been running one on mine for a while now. If you are thinking of pipes, high flow filter, etc. You will need to add more fuel. When I added my Ness Big Honkers, I had three choices:
1. VFC3 - plug-and-play and would support other mods when the time was right.
2. Power Commander - NOT plug-and-play, but would also support other mods.
3. Victory Reflash - $169 but you are stuck with what you've done. Also, if you are thinking cams at all, you are out of luck with a reflash.

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | I have the new 22' CeeBailey windshield (my christmas present to myself) AWESOME !!!!! will change it back to the shorter one for summer, but for winter/early spring its well worth the very reasonable price. Cee Bailey will also custom cut a height for you if
none of the three heights that are standard are what you need. All you have to do is order the size that is larger than the height you need and they will cut it down. all in all great guys to work with. |

This is an interesting statement. Someone with a Vision can probably address this better, but in general Victory (and for that matter any bike) is limited by EPA regulations to what it can do off the floor, even with ra-mapping and such.
When I got my '02 V92C, I thought I got a rare one. Absolutely no performance issues, no backfire, no run-overrich at start, great response, good gas mileage.... so I thought.. I installed a stage one kit, then learned while I perceived "no issues" I was also missing out on performance, gas mileage, and responsiveness. Victory over-builds and over-engineers to an extent that even the properly "detuned" bike you buy new, is outperforming our expectations.
The clincher to install a stage one was based on just taking another bike that already had a stage one out for a spin around a parking lot. That's all it took.
Now.. back to your question, even with stock pipes and airbox, there is only so much you can do with the stock ECU and adjusting the TPS alone. You can usually improve one overall range, but that's about it. As has been stated, a VFC even on a stock bike will bring out it's stock potential, one that you probably are not even realizing is missing.
I totally agree with:
And a note on item #3, even with a reflash, the ECU is only capable of doing so much on its own. Chances are if you have no particular issue (backfire, overrich, etc..) and you have made no modifications, this will not gain you anything, where the VFC will.
