I get about 50 miles per 1/4 tank.
Does the level start dropping after about 70 ish miles? May be a sticky float thingy.

My 08 reads "E" all the time now. I just fill up every 225 miles.

your not getting all the gas in the tank. Put foot on floorboard and giggle bike. To get the air out of tank. Now lift nozzle up and keep filling

agree w/Johnnyvision if you fill until the first time pump clicks it looks full but it'll read 3/4 ... air-bound have to rock that bad boy a few times

I could never get mine to read more than 7/8 full even after completely topping off jiggling and rocking the bike on the stand. Had the front end apart a couple of months ago replacing the amber turn signals with the clears and discovered I could pull the fuel pump/gauge out while the turn signal housing was out. Bought a new float thinking mine was saturated, but it was not. After doing some careful studying of the float mechanism, decided to bend the float arm a bit. The tank reads just past full now like it should and still have a bit of fuel left when it gets to empty on the gauge now. Used to be when it said empty I would fill up and it would only take about 4 gallons. Now I put in 5-5.5 or so.

When filling, squeeze the handle on the gas pump 1/2 of wht full woukd be... try that 1 time and see... when I used to fill mine "full force", It wouldn't give it enough time to fill the other tank first ..
