Has anyone had experience with these devices. Show Chrome makes a device that you put onto your valve stem and it transmits to a receiver your tire pressure and temp. The part that screws onto the valve stem weighs about 1/3 of an ounce. I think these are a good ideal but was wondering if the extra weight on the end of the stem would cause the valve to fail. Years ago I put one of those red/greed/yellow warning devices on my HOG and it wound up tearing the valve stem at its juncture with the rim. Had to have the bike towed and the stem replaced. Aside from the regular checking of the pressure one of these things may be a good thing when on tour etc. provided it does not cause damage to the tire's stem. If one of you all has had one of these things installed for a while with success please would you post your comments.

I've got the red/green thingies on my valvestems, no problems. Had them on my Venture for seven years and never a problem but it would be nice to have a digital reading on the dash.
