Getting ready to make the trip to Daytona, I was looking at how to attach my pack to the passenger seat without marking up my paint.  This solution is also a quick disconnect system.

At a local sporting good outfitter, I purchased some 1" hoolow webbing and associated D rings and pinch buckles. I removed the center cushion from the backrear on teh trunk and made 2 web straps and crossed them on the back of the cushion.  I attached the female end of the pinch buckle to the upper end of each strap and a D ring to the other end.  After reattaching the cushion, just the ends of each web strap extend beyond the chushion.

The lower ends have D rings that get snap hooks attached to them.   The upper ends get the male end of the pinch buckles inserted.  This created a very secure hold down for my pack.  When disconnected, the D rings are almost invisable, and the pings buckles fols against the plastic of the speaker grill.

Attached are some photos of the connections.
