Hello all,

Well, I just put down a deposit for the Arlen Ness signature Vision. Should be arriving in March. Letting the well-worn rocket III go (ahhhhh) so I'd better enjoy riding the Vision!!!!

I'm in the UK, so I'd be really pleased to hear of any UK Vision riders and if there is or should be a UK-based club/forum/sharing of info local to these shores?

Having been registered on a predominantly US rocket site and a UK site, it's clear we can learn from each other and the extra local knowledge (suppliers, mods, rallies and meets) is so very useful.

Anyway, looking forward to wobbling around on the beasty until I get the hang of it!!!!

UK riders - should loud!!!! Or email thedoc3@mac.com

Hey Doc...althought I'm not in the UK, my wife and I spent 3 weeks in Scotland and eventually found ourselves in London. You will probably be bombarded with questions about your Ness Vision because most of the bikes I saw in the UK were a cross between street and motocross. The riders were decked out in leather from head to toe as well.

I suspect you'll really draw a crowd because I saw maybe 2-3 Harley style bikes during our entire trip.

Enjoy your awesome bike.

So how did you like your Rocket? "Letting the well-worn rocket III" I have to assume a lot. People I talk to that are looking for a low cost dependable bike, I head them toward Triumph. Yes, the Rocket is the top of the food chain but they make nice bikes across the board.
I am sure you will enjoy your Vision. Trust me there will be no "wobble" as you get to know her. The think you will find the only problem will be having to get off her.
Send some fish & chips over wrapped in newspaper.

Hi both!

The RocIII is an awesome bike. 2.5L is as big as you get, but it's such a hunk of iron - steady, powerful, fun! I have a dog-box to carry the family mutt and we draw a huge crowd -daft I know!!!

As far as I know, there are only 3 Visions sold to date in the UK - very limited import. I saw the launch at the NEC about 2 years back and fell in love with the beast. I looked at importing but it was way too expensive. On a random forray to the local dealer, thee was the ONLY Arlen Ness Vision in Europe screaming 'I'm your baby!' - well, yes she is!!! Counting down to pick up!

Off to Edinburgh this w/e on the Rocket (5hrs ride from my home) - probably our last long trip together (sniff!!), but a fitting goodbye!

I'll send you some vinegar soaked newspaper (as I'll have eaten the chips!)!!
