I have an '08 Cherry Vision and wanted to change out the silver "106 Cubic Inch" badges on the sides for a set of the red Anniversary ones.  Just the plastic pieces with the printing on it (stuck on with double sided tape), not the whole "wedge".  Stock replacement - $35 per side. (Ouch.)   Anniversary Ed. - $130 per side.  (Speechless.)

Ufdah! I guess you wouldn't want to have to buy many replacement parts for one of these!

This is one of the reasons why I didnt buy a 10th Aniv. I really wanted one of the 10ths too and I could have gotten one as well but after some long talks with my dealer and talking about how hard it would be to get parts for the 10th and if I ever laid it down the diffuculty of gettting stuff for it would be hard over the long term, matching paint, decals, etc. Plus the cost of replacment parts would be much higher and he is right look at how much the part is stated above oouch..So that's why i settled on my Black Tour premium becasue parts are dime a dozen for it and replacement parts are much easier to come by in my color.

As we all know, if you order 100 pieces the per piece price is way more expensive than if you order 5,000. Look up the cost of a '69 Firebird inside door handle. It's always been that way and always will.
Anyone that bought a 10th MUST have sat down and considered ALL things before buying?
I was chuckling to myself just yesterday about owning one. I bought a full cover it for because if anyone sees the red they will know it's a 10th so then I bought a cable and lock to hold the cover on. Plus I have been talking to Scorpio for an alarm for it. Kind of like having a "token" wife I guess.... HIGH maintenance. But I am happy I own it, I haven't seen another so far.
