Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | i was wondering about the tip over chrome covers also. i was wondering if someone get in the passenger seat and when they get on and off the bike it they will scratch the cover. (if) by some chance they used them to lift themselves up? i dont know if they do or not as i only had a passenger on my bike maybe once or twice. |

Posts: 639 Tri Cities, WA | Damn you VaParadox. Another good chrome add on. Of course I will need to see pics once you have them installed. just know i use you to see if i like it and if i do I buy it if not then I save tons of $$$$$ LOLOLOLOL.... if those of you have not checked the archives of VaPar bike chrome tipovers then i will post images as soon as it stops raining here. One problem i ran into when installing the new tip overs is the right side hit the floor board in the lowest postion unlike the left side. (VaParadox did u have this issue as well) So I'm not sure about how long it would last before it would mark them but since nobody really rides with me (wife has her own bike) I just dont know. The tip overs fit nice and went on in less than 25 min. Quality is very good...I paid 199.00 plus tax for mine. |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | VNR Im snowed in today with 12 inches on the roads, our community has no power (luckily i put in a whole house generator, so tonight while everyone else is sitting in the dark, cold, i'll have the flat screen on and the furnace going making them all pissed at me, but more pissed that they didnt get a generator. (yeah, i will invite all the elderly in surrounding homes over to stay warm.... im just a nice guy). ANYWAY havnt installed the chrome floorboards but will shoot some pics when i get them done, currently they are laying ontop of the rubber standards and they look cool as bat crap on a chistmas cake !! I did not hav the right side tip over that you mentioned, not sure what to tell ya about that. I got my standard 20% off accessory from my dealer on the chrome footboards.
She keeps my credit card number in her office, so i have no clue what they cost with the discount but figure you can take the standard price and deduct the 20%. will send you some pics soon as i get them installed. |

Posts: 639 Tri Cities, WA | VaPar: sorry to hear about that damn snow and power loss. Generators are awesome brother and i used it all the time when i lived over in the seattle area. In E-Wa where I live now all the power is underground so we never lose power and if we do it's maybe 2 hours and poof there on again. Cant wait to see pics of your new boards. I seen a pic of them installed on another bike but the angle was odd so wasnt sure if i liked them. Do you think they will be a problem on longer rides? Comfort wise? I know there not cheap which is no big deal if they look good and work well in comfort. At 44 years old I love style and looks (chrome) but comfort is a must now for me. Now if I can just find a chrome kick stand? any ideas? |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | VNR Victory makes a chrome kick stand for the Vision buddy !! Have not gotten to install my boards yet but I dont think
you will suffer any discomfort because of them. My thinking, the sole and heal of your boots is providing your comfort level, the
floorboard is just its resting surface. I doubt we will feel any difference at all except for feeling taller, prouder, sexier, hotter, younger,
when we step off the bike and get all that attention... will shoot you some decent photoss this weekend. Mac |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Bigwill, you would have to get down and look at the bottom edge to tell . Its really a great fit and look, you wont be disappointed.
FYI on our recent trip to the outer banks NC for bike week, I ended up unexpectedly taking a passenger several times because her boyfriends Victory didnt have a comfortable back seat and rest for the long rides. Point is, with the passenger floorboards down for her, she never came in contact with the rear chrome tipovers to scratch them, that was always my concern when i got them, that a passenger would accidentally mess em up, but it doesnt happen so get em and enjoy em. |

Posts: 725 Reno County, KS | Thanks for the heads up. I've been waiting on Polaris to send out parts since I got side-swiped; ending a 6Kmi trip, 8 months ago in August. I'll go ahead and order some (one month was because all the damage wasn't known until after the bike was completely torn down). I really miss living up near OBX. It's beutiful up in NC year round; especially in the Spring and Fall... |
