got a wid hair. Looks like sweet weather here on tuesday, so I'm gonna go do my 1000 in 24 for the iron butt club. I have been spending a lot of time in the mountains enjoying the twisties all winter. Its time for some miles. I'll post how my trip went, planning on a 5 a.m. departure, heading west to Vicksburg, Ms. After luch at the battlefield there, ill turn around and head for home. How bout we get a whole slow of Vision pilots in the club...would speak volumes for our awsome bikes. | |

Linwood, MI | I hear ya, man. I live in the Great Lakes area. There a few posted Iron Butt routes around the lakes, and even a special category for doing the Lakes, too. I've been trying to get a couple of my buddies to do it with me, but it's just too hard to get the interest and schedules synchronized. I may have to do it all on my lonesome.
Hope your trip went well and I look forward to hearing all about it. I would especially like hearing about the endurance part of it. | |
