Posts: 173 Prescott Valley, AZ | Okay I finally got the pics up in my gallery of the painting I had done recently. Ever since the first picture of the Vision I saw in a mag I did not like the looks of that great big opening on the front of the bike highlighted by the silver grill. I knew I wanted to do something with it but was unsure until after I went to the SW Victory "Rally" in Laughlin. After seeing many different approaches I made up my febble mind and went for it. Painting the console makes a WORLD of difference!!!! The glare you get at the top of the windshield of the four switches in the console is GONE!!!! The look from the front of the bike is now much better.
I also went with the mirror trim "chrome", DO NOT BOTHER!!!!!! I have not seen anything this cheaply done in quite some time. It is NOT worth the $30 is costs and does not do much at all for the looks of the front end IMHO. Maybe next year I'll do something with the rear tipovers and hand holds.

Not only is the Chrome Mirror Trim cheap looking but the sun shines off of it at times in my face. It will be gone soon.
Ride on.

Posts: 172 Prescott, Az | HI Bearcat. I liked yours so much after I met you at PV Victory, I decided to black out my Vision. I ordered the Ness black console and guage trim. I want to get the white trim pieces painted. Where did you get yours done? Look forward to riding with you when this cold windy weather settles down. |

Any plans to do the engine "swoosh" and the tail pieces? |

Posts: 173 Prescott Valley, AZ | Already got the chrome around the engine area and the chrome rear piece. Maybe later I'll look at doing some paint or powder coating the rear tipovers and handholds. Haven't decided yet, it took me 14 months to decide on the stuff I just did so obviously I'm in no big hurry. So long as it brings a smile to this old mug whenever I get on it I'm GOOD!!
