But then I realized I never saw the plugs in my mirror holes and looked at my 08, no holes. ( I thought of drilling them out, but I'll let you do it first to see how it goes ) |

Posts: 66 Harrisburg, PA | If you drill them on the bike your likely to drill crooked. Best bet would be to remove them place in a vice on a drill press. Or take them to a machine shop for a drill and tap... Or just buy the 09s and replace them... big $$$$$$$$$$ |

Posts: 18 Stacy,Mn | I looked up ram-mount and it uses a ¼-20 stud for there ball mount, so
I drilled both side about 20mm down and taped them out (by hand ) take your time and predrilled the holes first with a 3/32 bit and work up to tap size bit'.
I used a ¼-20-1/2" button screw instead of a plug to cover the hole till I need to use the mounts. LOOKS GOOD.
