| I have read either in this forum or in the Polaris literature that the head light is switched off during the start sequence. I understand that this is new to the 09 Visions.
Has anyone or does anybody know if this option can be added into the 08's
After getting mine started for the first time since November it was obvious that the headlight off would have been a constructive move.
Oh and yes it came to life……..Oh how sweet it is! Thanks

| Thank you guys, both are worth while, but as a tender does give the battery a good head start it doesn't answer the question. Is the switching off of the headlight a software issue or are there relays, etc. ,or is it just not possible with the 08 system. I am not saying there is a problem or there has ever been a problem with starting the bike in the last 10,000 miles. It seems that if the option is possible then why not put it out there. Again thanks for your input. |

Hope there is a good answer, as an '09, '10, '11 or even a 2012 is not in the picture unless I wear my '08 first. |
