Ok...I can't search because I keep getting timed out.

Any threads out there on lowering a Vision? I keep thinking back to when I sat on the Ness version and enjoyed the lower feeling.

I am a fairly short guy but don't really have an issue getting to the ground. But the look and feel of it was awesome. I really like the Anniversary vision that Ness did...looks good! thought I might venture down the road to make mine a bit more custom like this.

How is the bike affected (handling)? Does the travel for the passenger become too small for the air shock and cause a harder ride?

I have a shorter inseam as well and had the bike lowered about 1.25" so I could have both feet flat at a stop.  I also had two mods done as a result of the change:

1) The backend will drop but, swing arm travel remains unchanged.  Keep the air pressure high when riding two up.  If you bottom out, you run the risk of the rear wheel assembly coming through the bottom of the bags. It happened to me and the fix was installing a small fiber glass "knockout"  on both sides that allowed full suspension travel without violating the bags integrity.

2) I had 1/2" taken off the kickstand to change the lean angle.

I really like the way the bike looks and feels.  We just came off a 1500 mile trek and the Vision was rock solid.
