| Hey justed wanted to let everyone know my new hitch came in today. I haven't opened the box yet so as soon as I have a look and consider installing I'll post.
Oh and I purchased this through Jamie at Goodneighbor (one of our members) who has a ad somewhere on the site. It took him less than a week to get the order and have it on my door step.
Wondering how folks who have already installed a hitch hooked up the wiring on their bikes? I'm considering a purchase of the Bushtec harness and relay, but would like some input before dropping more money on a hitch I may not use???? Thanks in advance..... Teach |

Fargo, ND | I recently did the wiring on mine. My trailer has LED lights that require very little electrical draw so I did my wiring without using a converter. Once the seat was removed I located the wiring harness along the right hand side of the bike. As I recall there were 2 bundles of wire and the wires you will need to splice into are in the smaller bundle of the two. You will need a test light or meter to locate - 1) Left Turn 2) Right Turn 3) Tail Light 4) Brake Light and 5) Ground (the ground wire can be grounded to almost any bolt under the seat) You will notice one or two wires that are grounded under the seat and you can use the same bolt. Paragould, AR | I also ordered one from Jamie, it is nice to deal with good people from this list. Mine should ship out on Monday, I still have a few things to order before I will be ready for the install of the harness. I think I will go ahead and mount the hitch, I can do the wiring when I get the parts.
What are your thoughts on trailers? new? used? homemade? camper? other?

, IA | i would love to help u out but alast my dealer put it on u do not need to buy electrial from bush tec just go to a parts store u may need the little black box my dealer put one on for me for my wireing and i bought a aspen trailer u can see my hitch and electrial plug in the photo gallery looks good and works fine |

| Bobby, my older brother has a two man camper he uses about once every couple years. My thought are I'll just use that occasionally for camping trips but I really like the features of the ZZtrailers and a couple Bushtec models. I wanted to get the hitch on just in case I get the bug to go camping, and who knows might buy a trailer while out on the road, lol.

Linwood, MI | A trailer made to look like the rear saddlebags would look pretty sweet. Side access, just like the bags with a middle hatch (with the V lights, of course) that lifted up to allow access to the entire cargo area.
