Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | '09 Vegas Low! Man, this bike is sweeeeeeetttttttt! Like the Vision, when I first saw it I knew it was a cool ride. I rode a KP Low and was not as impress even with the floorboards. The VL is a really good scoot bike and I'd like to keep it for my work and weekend bike for the summer. And use the Vision for winter and road trip bike. But I live in a dream world, and I'm in one with the Vision, I just hope I never wake up. I've got to take the Low back soon and swung by the house to listen to a conference call for work at the moment, that is the only reason I'm not out on the Vegas right now. My son, a non-rider at the moment likes the Vegas and wants me to rid of the Vision and keep it. HMmmmmmmm, naaah!

Midnight Cherry Tour Premium and a Black Jackpot for me, Sometimes I just can't decided which one to ride without making the other one jealous so I take each one out for a spin. Life is GOOD!

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I got lost on the way back to the dealer ship but eventually found my way back. It had been many years since I took a good ride on a basic cruiser and I forgot what I was missing. One, just the stamina to maintain, it really does make you feel alive and that you are a part of something few venture into. Also, the sneaky bug critters that get stuck in the helmet, still alive. I caught one go into the left side of my helmet and thought it moved on or I squished it. But as I pull back into the dealer parking lot and was coming to a stop, a wasp creeped around onto my goggles. That is what got stuck in my helmet and I guess the force of the wind made it stay put for the duration of the ride, thank goodness.
But I back to the a singular choice unless you count taking the jeep, the poor old neglected jeep. By the way. When I got back from the ride, I could have sworn I heard the Bentley (my Vision) snarl at me....

It's fun for a while but I'm betting you would miss the Vision after a few months.

I guess I was recounting those 25 years ago when I all I was left with to get around was the CB750 Custom. I rode that for a couple years as my primary ride, and you'd be amazed how creative I got getting the necessity of life like grocery shoppin'. Then one day I got a fairing for it and swore I'd never go back. Then I didn't have much choice, today I do and I would like the freedom to recall why I want a dressed tourer by returning to the roots. There's nothing like feeling the wind in your face while zippin' down some twisty back road.
