I did mine and it took alot longer than I thought it would, about 6 hours. The grab handles were the biggest pain. I assumed it would go back together much faster, but that was not the case. As anxious as I was to get it put back together it's worth taking your time and making it perfect. |

It does take some time. I've been riding it the past couple of days, and notice I have a small rattle in it. I believe I know what the culprit is. On the right side of the bike, the wiring that goes to your Victory light badge has a metal clip on it. I did not clip it back, just layed it in there like on the other side. Dummy me should have taken the metal clip off, or clip it back up. I have had numerous compliments on it! One while sitting at an intersection waiting for the light to change. I might take some better pictures today,,,, if it does not start raining. |

Posts: 127 OHIO | clubford00 - 2009-04-19 2:52 PM Where can we see the finished product? I tried posting pictures earlier today, but would not take, and not because they were to big. This site was was having tech issues. I'll try now. Still will not allow pictures!! It says website cannot display page,,,, very frustrating.

You Vision is a vision to behold! Great Job!
By the way, It is your bike! If you like the sticker on your V cover, keep it. I still have my my sticker on my V-cover.
When people tell me that I should remove it, I have many thing to reply to them. Lately i like to say, "When you buy yourself a Vision feel free to take it off of yours. This Vision is MINE!"
Have a nice day and Ride Safe! |

Posts: 244 Fargo, ND | Beautiful. My pics still aren't showing up yet today either. Mine looks like yours except I left the dash black, the brushed stainless under the lighted badges, and did the chrome rear tipovers. It cleans up the look of the entire bike! I also added the clear protective film at the bottom of the front shroud behind the front tire, and the front of the saddlebags where my wife's leathers rub against the paint. Virtually invisible. |

Posts: 127 OHIO | spursmvp - 2009-04-21 4:58 PM Looks nice....I still prefer chrome instead of all the same color. Excellent paint work though! I prefer the crome too, but not the $$$$. My choices were leave it alone, paint it, or chrome. Leave it alone would have been the cheapest option, but I just did not like the two/tone job. Wife would have flipped if I told her about the chrome price. So I spent $100 for the paint from my dealer, (that is for a quart) $8 or $9 shipped to my house, and $30 to have it painted!! I did all the labor. Thanks, RedDog |

| Looks incredible.
Did you have to sand & prime it first?
If you primed it - what color primer did you use?

The sticker is looking bad at the edges after 11 months and 10000 miles. I will remove it this weekend.
Next video no sticker! |
