Visionary
Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I'm in the middle of changing company employment, but still doing the same job and had to fax some documents. I told the wife I would be going to work to do this which is a 32 mile trip. She's like, go to Staples and I told her that cost money, but she told me to go to work cost gas and that is the same as money. Well, I gave up reasoning with her and headed to work. I took the long way which proved to be interesting. First, this Valkyre pulled up beside me and the rider nodded his head. He was in the other lane, so when the light turned green I took off normal and he's goosing it. So I know a challenge when I see one and get down and watch the tach hit the redline as I hit 3rd and I'm flat out gone. I back off and he's back there somewhere. He pulls up side me at the next light and says "Man, that's got some power." Then, I'm off 144 in chester at a light and in the turn lane pulls up a lopping V-twin that sounds right good. I turn and look to see a Red and White sweet looking Indian with with a gal on the back. Really, I just know she is there I don't even know what she looks like, but all I see is the Indian and I point and say "that's my second favorite bike." He looks over at my bike and sees the Victory badge and says "Victory! that is very nice." I'm still checking out the S&S motor on the Indian and my light is green. I do a courtesy look to the rear and there is a car behind me so I tell him to take care as both of us are knodding our heads. If I really didn't have to get to work I think I'd still be sitting at the light talking to him.
