Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Ok, just got home from a weekend meeting and on the plane of all places, i was sitting reading a couple of my bike magazines. The guy sitting next to me commented on my reading material and we struck up a conversation. Without knowing what bike i owned, he asked me if
i were familiar with Victory Motorcycles. I said "god i hope so, i have a Kingpin and a new
Vision. Well, without revealing names and specifics, the guy is in marketing for Polaris
and specifically the motorcycle division. We had a 5 hour flight so with alcohol our friendship became better and better and more and more relaxed. (yes, i had an alterior motive) ply the guy with booze then get the dirt.
Well boys and girls, I GOT THE DIRT. The decision was made and I now know the R E A L
2010 Vision color. not to mention which color is being dropped. I have to say at first I was surprised at the new color, and equally surprised at the drop color, but in thinking about it,
it makes sense. Now for the hard part, he made me absolutely promise to not discuss it.
So, im trying to think of a way i can honor his trusting wishes, while letting my buddies in on the
secret. Any suggestions?? |

a good upstanding person, not a bs er, and why not, you are a fellow Vision owner. Why not let us know through some kind of code, even though we all know, no one affiliated with Victory, reads this
site,LOL ! |

For example, someone would say "Is the next Vision going to be Canary Yellow"? and you would respond. "No the color of the next Vision is NOT Canary Yellow". That way your not telling us the color. If when someone guesses the right color and you don't respond we'll presume someone has guessed the color.
I just hope (and tell me if I am wrong) but I hope it isn't Antres Red as I just got an Aniversary Edition and it would exactly be special if they come out with that color a year after bringing it out as a limited edition. |

| My best guess would be that Black Cherry is being dropped in favor of Antares Red (not a two tone like the 10th anniversary), as every manufacturer that make a touring motorcycle has some form of a red paint offering. |

That would be great if they dropped the Midnight Cherry, as not only is that the fastest color, but it would make it a rarety as well. I can hear it among the other Vision owners, "I haven't seen a Midnight Cherry in a long time." And the reply would be, "You won't, as three just passed us and they were moving so fast they are just a blur...." I really believe it will be HOT PINK for the GATrixieGirl to match her helmet. However, she wont' buy it as she's under the illusion that Black is somehow faster. |

secret" are mutually exclusive. You either are honorable or you aren't. And for what it's worth, assuming he knows who he told what..... if the info is leaked, he'll likely know who leaked it. FWIW, while only one or two have posted, many at Polaris read this site daily. I suggest you sit on the info and feel honored that you have a new friend on the "inside" that trusts you. No one here will fault you being honorable. |

| Lol you are full of it. We all sign confidentiality agreements. I wouldn't tell a stranger on a plane about anything that would compromise my job, hell my wife doesn't even know the future Vision colors. Nice try though. |

Canary?
Raven?
Cardinal?
Blue Bird?
Swan?

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Ok, i wont say anything. I gave it some thought and if someone lost a job over me spilling something as trivial to us as a color change
then id feel like shit. We all need our jobs right now. SO I will let myself off the hook by telling you its not Burnt Orange.
And Black stays. |
