| Anny came down with the radio bug.  Jumping sources, mute, volume and the handlebar control not working. I took it up to Higgins Thursday morning. Jay put my HB control on a Vision they have and it worked fine. He said he replace a couple on other bikes and it did the trick. Back to looking for the problem for Jay. It took a while for him to find the problem. He said he found a wire on the back of the frame that appeared that the insulator that was on it wasn't doing it's job. He fixed the insulation and relocated the wireway and the system worked perfect for the 2-1/2 hour ride home. 
A BIG thanks to Jay and everyone at Higgins.
They offered me a bike to take home if the trace out was going to take too long. I couldn't ask for more than that.
About 6 miles from Higgins it started a light rain and did that all the way home except in Norwich, CT where it came down harder. I had my Scorpion helmet on and lowered the hidden visor. The only thing that got wet on me was my mustache. :0 What an amazing design. | |
