Posts: 447 Northeastern Penna. | I've read some of the earlier posts on Noise from the belt, not sure if I have this. Had bike out
last evening for a 75 mile trip. On the way back driving through town in 3rd and 4th gears, when
I would let up on the throttle, I would hear what sounds like a howling or humming sound coming from underneath, center to front of bike.It wouldn't do it when I would resume throttle. Could this be the belt ? |

Did you notice this when leaning or going straight too? |

Posts: 125 Kerrville Texas ( now a homeowner on six acres) | Mine did it for a little while when we were in Big Bend area of Texas. I just thought it was because it was really dusty out there! I just rode the H--- out of it and it quit. Now with 23,900 miles on it I have not heard the noise for a long time..
My suggestion is to Ride the ride and if it bothers you turn up the radio.
