Posts: 297 VA | Just thought I would share what happened. I was riding to Myrtle Beach and my iPod kept cutting in and out. It would display the song, then stop. The volume buttons wouldn't work, the ffwd wouldn't work, and then my CB started staying open after I had transmitted. Well, I got down to Myrtle Beach and went by Coastal Victory and bought a new iPod cable. I had noticed that the iPod would start working again if I tapped on that side. Replaced the cable, and everything started working perfectly. The radio controls weren't sluggish anymore either. They had always lagged when I tried to change the track or playlist.
I wanted to share with others in case you have this problem. I was starting to think that the radio itself was taking a crap, but apparently when the iPod is hooked in, it affects a lot of other things.
Hope that was helpful.
