Well Hi al from the Land Down Under . I finally picked up my new 09 Blue Ice Victory Vision Street . I thought the Black was too hard to keep looking perfect and wasn't keen on the Red , so I thought I would go for the Blue Ice . I bought it sight unseen as no dealer in my state had one on the floor . It was a gamble , and I was very worried , going by what people had said here . But I love it , put it outside in the Sun and what a beautiful colour [ aussie for color lol] My friends now call me Buck Rogers so I went with that theme and got a personallised Plate for it , that was as close as I could getto SciFi and ended up with SCFII , I went with the street because I just love the lines , and I think the top box breaks the smooth flowing NESS look of the bike . Here in Sunny Queensland , Victory has only been available for a few months and as far as I can tell I am the first Vision owner in the state , maybe the first Blue Ice owner in Australia .Lets hope it the thin edge of the wedge . I was at the 40th Anniversary of the Honda 750 /4 Rally a week or so ago and spotted an Orange Vegas at the rally . The firsts ever Victory I had seen on the road . My Dealer " Rollies speed Shop " has been excellent , and should be fine with the servicing etc . Well ride safe cheers MartyQ

Welcome!
I believe there is a blog about some of your "mates" riding around the USA. It use to be on the home page, not sure where it is now.
Enjoy your ride!

Thanks for being one who thinks outside the box and is willing to take a risk ! BLUE is awesome. Personally, im pretty "blacked out". Black bikes, black clothes, black hats, black leather, even at bike ralleys they official t shirt is always BLACK. Cant we move to get away from black? Afterall, "badass" is a state of mind, not a state of apparel.
Congrats on your bike, you will never regret it or the fame it will bring you

They are Kiwis, actually, and I believe their Grand Adventure has now ended. You can check out their blog from the trip at WWW.BUMSONBIKES.CO.NZ

Hi , I live just North of Brisbane on the East coast of Australia , in a place called Redcliffe . [ about 35 klm nth ] Brisbane is the State capitol for Queensland . Victory dealers are pretty thin on the ground here , and so far , so are any sort of Victory Motorcycles . I have now seen 2 others , but have yet to see another Vision . I had 4 Goldwings in a row and then tried a HD Night Rod Special . Loved the bike , but wasn't really suitable for 2 up long distance , so the HD went the way of the Dinosaurs and I still wanted to go the V Twin way , and the other HD's in the lineup really didnt press my buttons , and then I saw the Vision and it just Blew me away . I have been riding for 36 years and nothing has even come close except for the Honda Rune . This one sure is a keeper , cheers Marty
