| Anyone tried these? I'm wondering more about the mount than the holder. There's not much information about the mount. http://www.thewaterbuffalo.com/index.htm |

| I just got a reply from the Water Buffalo drink holder people and the max it will fit is a 1 7/8" handlebar. |

| While not into things that just do not look right on certain things, I've gone a different route. I purchased the replacement handlebar clamp for the Vision from the accessory catalog, but it being powder coated black it didn't look right with my chrome controls so I stripped off the powder coating. Then I milled (yeah, I one a machine shop) the nose of the piece to fit the groove of the Kruzer Kaddy (I love the chrome holder just don't like the mount on the stock chrome Vision handlebars), I modified and polished a stainless steel pan head 3/8-16NC bolt to fit into the nose threads (there are three positions in the clamp for mounting a ram ball) and it is what the Kruzer Kaddy slides over when mounted. The milling I did prevents the Kruzer Kaddy from rotating around the post so that I can fit either a 20 ounce soda bottle or a 750 ml water bottle without it flipping on me. Now the last thing I have to do is to send the clamp out for chroming. I'll post pictures of the set-up once I get it back from the plater. |

Had one on another bike, the mount mechanism is not unlike plumbers tape (metal strapping) that wraps around the bar and both ends are secured into a plastic piece via a screw. you can see it pretty well in the following pic

I removed it once and on re-install, broke that plastic part. They were good enough to send me another strap and plastic piece free. Found it a minor P.I.T.A. to install and had to hold my tongue just right to get all the holes to line up properly.

Posts: 9 BHC AZ | I bought the replacement vision clamp also black & left it that way to use part of my barefoot willy that was on my EG. Bought a 10 x 1.76 bolt drilled it and tapped it to a No.10x 32 and mounted it all up.Works just fine not a lot of crap hanging out, plus it was cheaper than all the vision parts. |

I would like to see some pictures of your set up. I have the kruser kaddy also and don't care for the look of the clamp that much...

| FYI Kruzer Kaddy has been working on a bracket that bolts directly to the master cylinder. They have a bracket for either the Left or Right side. I painted the steel bracket I have black because it was just a prototype - but as I understand it the new ones coming out are either polished aluminum or chrome. Here are some pics of my setup.

| You're kidding me, right? 30 bucks for that? It's a bicycle water bottle cage with a cheesy mount. You can buy the water bottle cage for 5 bucks. |
