Posts: 171 San Antonio, Texas | After seeing that so many of the Vision Riders here have come from another brand (Kawasaki, myself), I am very curious as to what brand you "left" in order to become a Vision Rider. |

Put over 65,000 miles in the 9 years i had it. Three years it was not rode while i bought parts from e-bay to rebuild it and let my shoulder heal and deal with therapy as well from being involved in a hit and run. Prior to that i had a 500GL Silverwing. |

| My most recent bike was a BMW R1200RT. Great bike, but the leg position just wasn't working out for me on long days. Before the bmw, I had a Honda Pacific Coast and a VTX1300R |

Posts: 3 Ottawa, Ontario | I traded a Royal Star Midnight Venture when I bought the Vision. Prior to it, I had a Suzuki C50. Long before that it was a Suzuki GT380 then a Yamaha Radian. Oh yeah, my first ride was my brothers 50cc moped in 1976. |

Posts: 88 Billings, MT | I was an avid Honda Rider. I bought a 1993 Honda Shadow 600 VLX DLX. After 15 years and 147000 miles, I decide i would give another bike a try. I am very satisfied with my Vision, but time will tell me if she is as good as my Shadow (which i still have and ride too)

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | when I started to ride again I knew it was to be a tourer, so the only logical choice at the time was a GoldWing. The only real problem with the wing was it was not a V-Twin and that made its stance wide and tall. I wished many times on the GL1200 to have more than two distinct foot positions and to be able to sit low like a cruiser. I guess Victory was thinking about me when they created the Vision. |

Posts: 550 Tacoma, WA | I had a number of bikes before...I had a KS125 as my first bike in 1976, and later a RM250, then a Yamaha YZ465, and a YZ 490 after the 465 got stolen, then an enduro Suzuki 250, then the Honda Shadow VT1100c, and the "rat" VT700, and now the Vision. Its been a great ride!-----Metalguy |

Posts: 71 Willmar, MN | I got a Kawasaki in July of 1969 and except for a few indiscretions with Yamaha and Harley, have owned a Kawasaki since then. What I traded in was a Nomad. It was between the Vision and a Voyager but the Voyager had to many unanswered questions. |

Posts: 363 Goldsboro, NC | The first bike I ever wanted was a Vision. Unfortunately, my wife wanted a new car... so my first bike was an HD Road King (Fall '07).
I'm 6'4" and 310lbs... I fit on that RK like a circus bear.
10 months later.... I got my Vision and I'm not looking back. |
