Posts: 249 Montreal, QC Canada | Need some help. Coming home from a cruise tonight, we lost the mph, rpm gear selection, and odometer. If I tap on the top of the dash, the radio goes dark then comes back on. Got back into the garage, killed bike and let it sit a few minutes. Restarted it and RPM and gear selection came on until I hit the dash again. The mileage counter stayed the same so the last 100km we put on the bike are gone. Maybe not a bad thing if you wanted to keep the mileage down!
Anyone ever had this happen? Hoping its just something loose.
Thanks |

Posts: 194 Buford, GA United States | Mine did this and the mechanic found that the key had allowed some water to get into the ignition when I washed the bike. Took the key out and put a small amount of grease on the key and we were good to go. There was one fuse that we had to replace but since then no problems. |

cjnoho... you only need 2 tools. WD-40 and duct tape.
If it moves and shouldn't use the duct tape.
If it doesn't and should, use the WD-40! |

The BFH is for when it cant be fixed, then I can fix it for GOOD!
Costco sells some really good duct tape, bought the four roll pack two years ago, got two rolls left.
What a bargain! |
