Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. My fuel shows full until about 105 miles. The range shows 285 miles and my running MPG at about 55 to 60. Took it to the dealer and by their checks it is fine. It just started doing this all at once after setting out in the rain over night at Deals Gap. The bike is an 08 that I have had for about 6 months. Seems like it is full of little issues. When the tank is close to empty it shows a little less than 1/2 tank.
I love the bike but just getting tired of all the little issues.

Fargo, ND | I have to confess...I ran out of gas with 5 of my 'good buddies' on the way home from Strugis last year. Needless to say, I'm still the brunt of a lot of jokes :-) My gas gauge said over 1/4 tank and the computer said I had like 75 miles more to go prior to empty. I did take it into the dealer when I got home and asked if there was an adjustment on the sending unit or something. They ended up installing a new one for me under warranty. Alls well that ends well! |

scotts valley, California | My gague seems to be right on, not quite touching the "F" mark until you really top it off. The average MPG reads about 44.6 on a trip, which seems realistic. The only problem I have is that when the "lo fuel" anouncement comes on, there is about 45miles left, but you can not read any odometer numbers to see how much of that 45 left. |

SC, Bluffton | Mine is pretty accurate. I run it so low at times, it won't start after being on the kickstand. I have to hold it upright, or lean it some to the right to get gas to it to run to one of the many Gas Stations around me. I wouldn't run it that low out of the city limits.

Tucson, AZ | There is a fix in the works for the lo fuel and not being able to read the other numbers. Was told by the Victory techs this should be an update in the very near future. If i scroll through mine after the lo fuel i can see the other numbers for a split second. I just know on my bike when the low fuel, yellow light come on i have at least 37 miles to go.....never went beyond the 37 mile limit but....

Woodland Hills, CA | My gauge very consistent. It usually shows that I go about 45-50 miles for the first 1/8 tank, then 10-15 for the next 1/8 tank. After that, it pretty much reads consistently (30 miles or so per 1/8 tank). So if I look at it as reading about 60 miles per 1/4 tank (about 40 mpg average), I would have to say that my gauge is fairly consistent and accurate. And it has been like this since I bought the bike a year ago. |

Richmond, Virginia | This is gonna sound so much like a comment all of our dads would have said, but im gonna say it anyway. "If you're smart, you will treat the half empty mark on the gauge as EMPTY. Only a fool would ride when the gauge says anything less then 1/4 full. problem solved, |

| After owning a few Harleys I am so used to using the trip odometer to rely on fuel consumption and still do even with the Vic....have to say that my Vision has the most accurate fuel gauge I've ever had! |

Reedley, CA | I had the same problem with my vision when I purchased it, the dealer had to replace the sensor for the fuel gauge, it how ever is part of the fuel pump and you have to replace the fuel pump. I am glad it was under warrenty

At least when my Vision flashes "Low Fuel", I have at least 40 miles to go. Flip to the odometer, and start counting down! |

 Ha, yeah my '81 and I thought it was cool when the wings had a gas gauge. No cruise, no radio or all that other stuff. Now we got it and still ain't happy. I guess if you got it, it should work though.
But there were a few times I remember hitting the reserve as I heard it cough. I learned to use the trip meter and that served me very well except when I forget to reset. Then I'd just go fill it up again and take it from there... |
