Posts: 39 Reedley, CA | I just got the new CD pipes and the new Gatlin tips. We tried to install these last night and finished one side.
The problem we ran into is that when we put the chrome cover from the stock pipe we had a fitment problem with how the chrome cover sticking out towards the bottom of the pipe and Gatlin tip.
So when you look at the tip now and follow the indent that is in the gatlin tip from top to bottom. The top fits fine and is flush with the chrome, but as you go down to the bottom there is a gap and it gets bigger until it's about a 1/4" wide.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is this norm or did we screw up? |

Posts: 64 Columbia,MO | I had no problem at all with my gatlin tips and Cycle Dragon pipes. I asume you put the correct side tip on the correct side. You could try switching them and see if that matters. Hope this helps! I love my pipes and tips. |
