Northeastern Penna. | Went to the Americade Touring Rally for 4 days, last week in Lake George, NY. With the wife on the back, I was following a few bikes out of the hotel's parking lot. After the bike in front of us pulled out onto the roadway, I naturally stopped to look both ways , but the bike behind us did not, striking my bike in the rear, with his front tire. Luckily, all that was damaged was the left taillight housing getting cracked.The other biker was extremely embarrassed, for hitting my bike, with his Goldwing. He said he saw the bike in front of me pull out and assumed I would follow right behind.Not a good assumption from another biker. Just had the adjuster from his insurance - Geico,at the house. I believe the cost of the housing is around $100. |

Richmond, Virginia | Hey, at least it wasnt from "shooooing" a turtle off the road like my accident last weekend. My claim on my Lexus is 2200.00 .....yet the turtle lived............ |

perhaps for another day. I think this "assuming" the guy has pulled off is getting to a pandemic proportion and will only get worse. Blantant running of redlights have become common place around where I work and I notice that most folks just roll through stop signs. Just keep caution and don't throw it to the wind... |
