I've been running the Amsoil syn in my vision and have been quite happy with its performance. Now I normally run the Bosch filter but I decided since I was purchasing the oil at the dealer the last few oil changes, I may as well just buy the victory filter.
What I discovered is that with the victory filter shifting gets notchy early, about 2300 miles. With the Bosch filter I don't get any notchy shifting. So I compared the two and for all purposes they look the same but the Bosch has more but smaller holes on the filter as compared to the Victory version which has fewer holes but larger ones.
I can't explain how or why this impacts the oil so shifting becomes notchy sooner, but I tested my initial observation and it holds true on 3 oil changes.
I'm not posting this to start a filter or oil debate, you'll all run whatever it is you feel best with. I just thought I'd pass on my experiment results.

Ride safe.............. T

sorry had to edit some errors, my bad

Why not use the amsoil filter......... I ran amsoil in my '02 TC for 50K of its 70K I put on it. would go around 5K on a change. The last long trip I took with it was through the desert temp over 105 the clutch slipped so bad I could hardly get out of the hole. It got so hot it fried the grease in the starter bearing. No one else had a problem. Did some research when i got home. Seems to be a typical problem. Traded for the Vision shortly after. Nothin but Vic oil in it. 2,500 to 3K on a change. No debate. just sayin.
