Ruskin, Fl | I needed both tires replaced. The rear had a nail in it and the front was just plain shot at 16,000 miles. So since both wheels were going to be off at the same time, I felt I had no choice but to take the opportunity to send them out for powder coating. After reading all the threads and speaking to the service guy, I stuck with the E3s. The shop couldn't get it done in time for me to pick it up yesterday and I'm on duty till 0800 tomorrow AM. A close friend went to get it for me and says it looks awesome. I rushed the dealer to finish so I'm getting it back dirty. Better photos tomorrow after I get it cleaned up and fingerprints removed. These are from his camera phone. Oh yea, did the pulley and the belt guard too.

New Bohemia, VA | I'm not within earshot of the Vision so I can safely say this, black does the Vision very well. I just wonder if it could get away with flat black with gloss black accents?

Ruskin, Fl | Back tire was no charge, covered by tire and wheel insurance. Front tire was 184. $300 for powder and $200 labor. $723 total. Still haven't seen it in person. Can't wait till tomorrow. |

Tri Cities, WA | Very Nice. I had bought a set of black vision rims last Dec and there just sitting in my garage till it's time to put some new rubber on, then i will have them swapped out. Cant wait. Good to seee what they will look like mounted. I think i made the right choice too by buying them for my vision. |

Ruskin, Fl | I should be getting the forks done now. The mechanic didn't tighten the front left rotor bolts. They backed out far enough to wear a groove on the inside of the lower fork leg. When I went to roll back into a spot the bolts caught and bent. I opened my virgin tool kit and the 10MM open end wrench broke when I tried to tighten the first bolt. Went to the parts store and bought new bolts to replace the bent one, thread lock, and tools to continue my ride. I was not a happy camper when I called the dealer on Monday. Lucky for me I sensed something wrong before I ate pavement. They offered to get the forks powdercoated for me. I might look into the 2009 fork legs. I think the chrome would look good against the black rims. |
