Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Okay, I'm just wondering as I am thinking while I've got the Bently down, what one accessory would I like to add. I'm putting on new tires, front and rear, replacing the belt, pulling the exhaust to do the belt and put on new gaskets, and change the fork oil. I'm thinking this is also the time to get a hitch and install, but I got to thinking about what you would say is the best accessory you have put on your Vision. I want to exclude chrome, for the sake of chrome, I'm looking for functional items. This can be in the way of engine enhancements to creature comforts. There has been great artwork and customizing done out there, but unless it has a functional purpose, I wish to exclude that as well. I've started the list and if I miss something, feel free to add. This would include using a different GPS if it fits the category but does not match one listed. I look forward to hearing your responses. Remember, it is that one functional enhancement that you are most glad you did. Thank about it as you can only make one selection, or add one selection. |

for the record, my number one addition has been the taller windshield so my honey would ride with me

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Chris, I had my dealer add 2 power jacks before I took delivery - for our electric vests - both positioned for easy hookup:
- hers is right next to heated seat controls, and mine is right at the front edge/left side of the seat. Neither are conspicuous.
And as a bonus, I use one of them as POWER-IN for my battery tender in the garage.
The only option I have added since purchase - is 'blind-spot-mirrors' - but they vibrate so bad I am going to remove them (I tried adding soft rubber mounts but didn't solve the problem). |

| Chris,
Your poll only allows one item...
The Muth mirrors, lower deflectors, and Utopia back rest are a must.
I also like knowing that I have signal & brake lights at most cagers eye level!
I also put wide angle spot mirrors on the mirrors in the bottom inside corners. Once I got used to them, I would not ride without them! |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Chris - you can see the add-on mirrors on the Vision-Riders home page - Bob's Chowder - they attach to the aluminum front cowl just above the stock mirrors. I will post a better picture on my gallery. I wish they worked better..... |

| I have the Utopia, rubber cowl protectors, tall ws, trailer hitch, TomTom Rider and the most important add.... my coffee cup w/holder. I have the Vision street backrest w/panel but rarely use it. Next add will either be a cargo trailer or luggage rack.
ps... I'm going to look into a superbrace for the forks. Can't tow the pop-up mc camper because the forks flex too much.

Posts: 113 East Ohio | I have added quite a few of the above mentioned acessories, mostly due to riding 2 up, which was very important to me, the utopia seat does make the ride more comfortable for me, my wife could not get over how much the passenger floor board risers made a difference for her comfort, we were gw riders so the s1l2 pipes were a big difference for us, we like the semi rumble to them, but by far, the intercom was a must, we don't chit chat the whole ride by no means, but our riding time is OUR time and we enjoy being able to talk to each other and not having to yell. We live in the Ohio Valley so I have purchased heated clothes for her to extend our season, they were well worth it for us. It's a good day to ride
