| The Utopia made a BIG difference!
I still will stop about every 50 to 60 miles just to stretch the legs, and have done 5 to 600 miles in a day with no problems! |

Posts: 495 Carrollton, TX | The stock Vision seat is the most comfortable seat I have ever had on a bike including several Mustag and Corbin seats. I do have the Utopia backrest and I wouldn't go far without it. I have ridden as much as 1,438 miles in 24 hours on the Vision with no soreness and have ridden over 1,000 miles in a day several times on the Vision and felt fine. I have put 34,000 miles on my Vision in just 15 months and life and my butt is GREAT! |

Posts: 447 Northeastern Penna. | The stock seat to me, is extremely comfortable, coupled with the gargantuan floorboards,
allows me to ride for hours in harmony. However, I'm sure the Utopia backrest just put's
icing on the cake. I'm going to buy the Utopia ! |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Not telling anyone what to do, but I used to ride with my wallet in my right rear pocket and a bandana in the left. My back would hurt and the seat would be uncomfortable. NO MORE. I clean out my back pockets and that has made all the difference in the world. Just a thought I'd share... |

| on most trips i am ready to get off after 100 miles. the ultra was 150. with the ultra i could get back on after a break and do another 150. with the vision my butt is crying again after 50 or 60. gets me right in the tailbone. one exception was the last trip-1100 miles in a weekend. after the first 800 my backside hurt for hours. the next day i wore khakis with no pockets instead of the usual jeans with pockets and after 300 miles no problems at all. |

Posts: 329 scotts valley, California | The stock seat works pretty well for me also, however on the longer days there is generally a bedroll tied on in the passenger seat that offers some back support. Is the Utopia ya'll refer to easy to install. Are they available on line? |

Posts: 301 Buffalo Grove,Ill | I have no complaints whatsoever on the stocker. I bought my bike just north of Miami last month and the first day of the ride home was 620 miles, the second was 653. The third was 76. Home is a northern sub of Chicago. I hadnt ridden a big street bike in 20 years and had never been on a trip more than 100 miles in my life. This bike and this seat made it a snap. I do have the utopia backrest for the rider and it works really well. |

Posts: 244 Lindale, TX | Thank you for your responses. So far, this survey is showing 80% of Vision riders describe the OEM seat as Superior or Excellent. It's amazing that Victory can not only design a touring bike that fit's riders from 5'6" to 6'6" like a glove, but build a seat that satisfies 80% of the owners.
Great job Victory!
I should have my Utopia backrest soon and hopefully that will make a big difference in my opinion.

Posts: 1484 LaPorte,Tx. | Back in 2007 when we were waiting for our bikes to arrive, I remember a discussion on the seat. At that time someone made a statement that when Victory designed the seat they did have an Orthopedics surgeon as a consultant. That could be the reason it fits so many butts.
And the Utopia back rest really compliments the seat and give me the ability to ride all day without butt burn. |

Posts: 244 Lindale, TX | The Arlen Ness Version of the Vision seat has built in slots for backrests. The one suggestion I would have for Victory is to build in slots for removable Driver and passenger backrests. I think Victory is missing out on some backrest sales to Utopia. |

I look at it a little differently. I think that Utopia make a better back rest and has Superior technical and customer support. Victory backrests are better for people that want a backrest but want the dealer to install it. Or course you can take your Utopia to some dealers and they will install it as well for a fee.

| | | 607.1 | | | The problem isn't the design of the Vision seat, it's the design of my butt (or more specifically lack thereof). I've had my new '09 TP for 5 weeks and put about 2,200 on it in day trips. I've already added the Utopia backrest w/the quick release which definately helped the back but those small bones in my scrawny rear still get numb after about 50-75 miles. I flat out love this bike. It's by far the best I've ever owned or ridden and I hate being limited to a few hundred miles/day because I'm posteriorly challenged. I'm thinking about buying the butt buffer insert and having someone local do the leather work. I realize it won't totally solve my problem but I'd like to be able to burn a tankful before stopping once in awhile. |

My butt is pretty scrawny also, but it doesn't seem to matter. I could do 500-600 miles in a day on my Dyna Low Rider with relative ease, and now, with the Vision, it's a piece of cake. |
