My dad rented one of our equipment barns on the farm to a car/motorcycle collector and I grew up sneaking through a back window to sit on a Vincent Black Shadow and make engine noises.

I have spent countless hours over the years searching ebay, checking the want ads and auction listings in newspapers and in classic bike magazines hoping to find one of the dream machines from my youth that I could pick up for a reasonable price and "restore" to its former glory.

The Vision is the first motorcycle I've ever owned that was not "previously loved" and I realized after looking at these "elephant graveyards" that I no longer actually hope to find that unattainable machine because I already own it.

The longer I own and ride the Vision the more convinced I am that this is one of those machines that will inspire future collectors to part with ridiculous sums of money. Perhaps one day, a kid who daydreams of a place he cant quite explain will see (or sit) on this motorcycle and the lure of the road and freedom will change his life forever.

This bike already has changed mine, its fulfilled a dream.

Magic....I couldn't have said it better. The Vision has changed the way I ride and think of things. Just got back from our Rt 66 trip (TX, NM & AZ) and seeing the Grand Canyon while riding on the Vision was a dream come true. Pictures to follow!

Just got a call from my buddy in Columbia, TN at the auction. The '34 Brough Superior sold for $46,000.
