| has anyone used the satelite radio from the car on their vision? Is there a special wiring harness for that? |

Posts: 311 Atlanta Area | Several ways to get XM.
Get the factory XM module (requires a harness as well).
Purchase a Garmin 2820 GPS with the XM goodies and the Vic GPS mounting kit (mono XM sound out of all four speakers).
Use an aftermarket XM radio, mount it somewhere on the bike and use the MP3 interface plug in the glovebox to send the sound to the bike's radio... |

Posts: 185 Nebraska | I bought the cheapest XM receiver they had plus the car kit. Fits in the box nicely. Hooks right up nothing else needed. Powers up when the bikes on. Volume & mute buttons on the bike work. Changing stations has to be done on the XM receiver. It came with a dock & antenna for the house. Under 100 bucks total. |

ebayjoe, can you describe or better yet show a pic of your setup?
I'm also trying to use and inno with car kit. I have the car mount attached to the dash but the inno keeps threatening to vibrate out. I also get REALLY low volume. When I use my MP3 player or the radio, I never need to go above 18 volume. I'm usually around 12. With the inno, I have the volume up all the way (30) and its still a bit quiet.

| Thanks for all the replies...I bought the stratus 5 (sirius radio) its a black unit with a blue back light that matches the bike perfectly. Right now its in the glove box (antena and all) and it works perfectly. Eventually I would like to mount it on the dash right under the windshield. I figure if the antena works in the glove box then I shoud be fine attaching it under the front cover. I will let you all know how it comes out when i am done and post some pics too. |

| I activated my 3 months free XM on Anny. It disappointments me. It works fine on the open highway but as soon as I ride the back roads under the tree canopy it dies out. |
