Posts: 64 Warren, Vermont | I have converted my wife's Vision to the street but when I did so, I seem to have lost the headset function. It was working fine when the trunk was on but with it off and the external speakers off - I can get no sound from the headset.
I made sure the headset was good by trying it on my Vision but no go on hers.
So, I pulled the dash and seat to see if there was a loose wire - the wire from the headset jack goes along the harness to the bundle of wires that I have disconnected when I took off the trunk. I do not see how the headset gets its signal, with the wires off.
Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing this? The headset jack is supposed to work with the street, right?
Thanks!

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | The CB/Intercom is in the base of the trunk. I think one of the Vision Riders mounted his CB/Intercom in a side bag and used a license plate Antenna if the CB function is needed. If not Put on the Dummy Load on the Antenna Jack of the CB/Intercom and just use the Intercom.
You would have to re-route the wire harness and ground strap to the side bag.
I hope that this helps.
