Where does someone send a jacket/vest to get patch work done? I'd like to start getting my "merit" patches sewn on. I have no place locally that will touch my leather. They'll do just about anything else. Any suggestions? Something I should do myself maybe?

Have you tried a shoe repair shop?

Ride to a local rally or go to the HD dealer that is having a big weekend bash. The usually have someone there that will do the work for a few dollars. One of the HD guys I ride and work with does mine for me.

Also, I have been picking up a needle and thread and trying my hand at patching. There are some videos on Youtube that show you how to do it.

Ride Safe and be careful with needles.

If you're ever in Wichita, The Beavers Den in Delano area of Wichita. Does all the patch work for the local Legion Riders, etc. About $4 a patch. The seamstress is only there one day a week or so. You could mail it in then pick it up. Check

for their particulars. Call and check their next ride presence. They were at Cassoday last time.

I have a little tiny shop in a building in the back of a parking lot that sews all my patches on my leather. Nice older Italian lady and she does nice work. She is always happy when I stop in.
I suggest finding a place that repairs sewing machines and asking them. They know every place in town.
