Posts: 411 Dallas, Texas | This is my first bike with an oil cooler. Given the heat right now in Texas, is it normal to have fluid drip after shutdown from a black tube hidden in the front panel, right side, facing the bike? Or it that not the oil cooler? |

Posts: 374 Tucson, AZ | It is probable the gas overflow line or the condensation line from the air box. I dont think it has anything to do with the oil cooler. Given the humidy some parts of Texas has i would lean towards the condensation line.

If it looks like water it could be that is run off from rain or washing, or even the battery. But there should be absolutely no leaks. Wait, does your's have A/C?

Posts: 411 Dallas, Texas | Mike...liquid had an oily feel and was clear. It only dripped a spot or two, and came from a black, open line, just inside the front panel. |

Posts: 411 Dallas, Texas | I talk to my dealer service tech on the phone. That is an oil breather hose, and if the oil is slightly over full (it is does come from the factory that way sometimes) and gets really hot (100 w/heat index of 108) it can have some oil spill over. I'll check the oil level when I get home.
