Posts: 95 Alberta, Canada | I bought some new pegs for my toe shifter and the brake peddle and am having issues with getting the stock ones off!!! Does one just cut the rubber off???? I would appreciate any advice! Happy riding. |

Posts: 244 Fargo, ND | Actually, get a bottle of the squirt hand soap, the liquid type that turns to foam. Spray a little at the ends of the rubber and let it soak underneath, then twist the rubber. As soon as it breaks loose, it will come right off with a bit of twisting and pulling. |

1) Fight them for a while and hope you don't pass out from exhaustion prior to them coming off.
2) Cut them off and toss in the garbage.

| If you are replacing the pegs with the Kury Akyn extended pegs the simple way to get them off is to use a Vise-Grip and twist counter clockwise as the screw is bonded into the rubber and you won't be need the screw as the K-A pegs come with a replacement screw. I did this change out and the K-A pegs are about 1" longer than the stockers and look much better. |
