| All - I'm rebuilding a formerly wrecked Vision and it's missing the Schrader valve on the end of the air line for the rear shock....can anyone help locate one - or I.D. the specifics of this valve? Doesn't appear to be available separately from dealer. |

1. I would think the shock and hose is a single unit. It says in the manual if there is problems, replace.
2. I hope all is well from the crash. I'm thinking you bought it crashed for a project...???
3. Pictures, before and after and detail reports are greatly appreciated.
I know of one Vision that was in a rear end collision and trashed the entire rear of an Annie. Well, when the dealer took off all the plastic, there was nothing wrong with the structure/frame, period. They order all new body parts and put him back on the road.
I got pushed about three feet from a guy rolling into me at a stop sign. Other then some scuffs on my left bag, nada. I just pulled the pipes off and the left door and found nothing that would indicate there was even a contact. I got a check to replace the left side bag, door, and lower piece + labor because of the marks. I buffed the marks out the check was enough to buy my tires, belt and oil change and take the wife out to dinner.
I hope we can see what the finished product looks like. |

| Thanks guys...the Schrader valve is different from a standard tire.
I did buy this already wrecked as a project - pretty much all plastic from the seat rearward was broken, but no sign of damage to wheel, frame or any other structural part. I will post before / after pics later...should be finished by the weekend (schrader valve or not - I may have to cap it off temporarily - but I'm riding this weekend).

| You should be able to make a Harley Air Shock valve work. Might take a little modifying but I suspect they sell just the valve for the air suspension on the Tour models. Good luck |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Tim, I didn't look at it close when I was under mine recently, but how is the hose attached to the shock? I think might be the trick is to replace the entire hose and valve and that should solve your problem if you can find a hose that will work. Just a suggestion... |

Or you can always try this place http://www.mcmaster.com |
